University of Connecticut Department of Statistics High-School Statistics Co-op Workshop October 20, 2000 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM Statistics Coordinator: Nalini Ravishanker Undergraduate Program Director We invite you to attend the Statistics Co-op Workshop. This workshop is an opportunity for teachers participating in the University of Connecticut High-School Cooperative Program to visit us, participate in a discussion of the program and earn CEU credits. The sessions in this workshop will provide an overview of the format and contents of the Statistics 100 and 110 courses at the University of Connecticut, specific ideas and activities relevant to classroom teaching, and ideas on computing material that could enrich your Co-op teaching experience. Web based instructional material will be used to illustrate concepts and examples. We look forward to seeing you at the workshop. Schedule: The High-School Statistics Co-op Workshop will be held on Friday, October 20, 2000 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM in -MSB room 407, in the Gant Science Complex (which houses the Mathematical Sciences & Physics department, and the Institute of Materials Science). 3:00-3:15.
