General Information 

• All participants are advised to fly in at the Bradley International Airport (BDL). Locally, the same airport is also called the Hartford-Springfield Airport.
• A participant from overseas may decide to select one of the larger international airports nearby (e.g., JFK (New York) or Laguardia (New York) or Logan (Boston) or Newark or Philladelphia). But, from that gateway entry, one will fly in at the BDL.

Roundtrip Shuttle Between BDL Airport and UConn-Storrs Campus

•     A shuttle will pick up a group of passengers from BDL at a time to bring them to UConn-Storrs campus and will also drop them off at the BDL for return flights according to a set schedule to be determined and posted later.

•       The prepaid roundtrip shuttle fare will be $50 per person. One will necessarily sign up and prepay for the shuttle. This is not included in the registration fees.

•       There is no option for one-way shuttle-ride!

•       A taxi will cost nearly $50-$60 each way (45-60 minutes ride). One may rent a car as an alternative.
