Some Things to Remember
Every program committee member is requested to arrange one invited paper session each (with some pre-approved exceptions) involving three speakers including himself or herself as appropriate.
Every session will have an allotted slot of 90 minutes. Every speaker in an invited paper session will have an allotted slot of 30 minutes. It is hoped that every speaker will speak for 25 minutes and leave 5 minutes from his/her own allotted time for Q&A.
No speaker will present more than one paper. Co-authorship in multiple papers is clearly acceptable. A speaker may additionally "Chair" a session or take part as an invited panelist during one panel discussion, if any.
The local organizing committee suggests that each program committee member should invite a student to present one of the three papers included in a session when that is appropriate or possible in view of the session organizer. Obviously, that may not be a doable proposition for all program committee members, but we will welcome any that we can get.
However, it is the local organizing committee members' belief that the students' paper presentations will capture more attention and visibility when these are integrated with the other invited presentations. This way, the student presenters will also feel more energized, encouraged, welcomed.
