Lengthy Visits

Australia

During April and May, 1992, I spent about five weeks of the sabbatic leave visiting the Statistics Section of the Mathematics Department at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Gave a series of lectures at 

• Monash University
• Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University 

Visited the Australian National University in Canberra where a colloquium was presented.

Germany

During the months of May - June 1992, I spent a week of the sabbatic leave in Germany. Visited with colleagues at the University of Munster.

Kuwait

Visited Kuwait University for two weeks in May 1985. Gave a series of lectures and evaluated some of the academic programs at the university.

Republic of China

Visited Ming-Chi Institute of Technology, Republic of China, for one week in June 1986.

Sweden

During May - June, 1992, I spent one week of the sabbatic leave in Sweden and visited the Mathematics Department at Uppsala University. Gave a lengthy colloquium during this visit.

U.S.A.

Participation at the NSF Regional Conference on ASequential Nonparametrics@ held in July 1983 at the University of Iowa.

Participation at the NSF Regional Conference on AMultivariate Estimation@ which was held in January 1985 at the University of Florida.
